Drawworks is necessary hoisting mechanism on a drilling rig.
Essentially, drawworks is one large winch that spools off or takes in the drilling line and thus raises or lowers the drill stem and bit.

The single shaft drawworks has co***ct size,light weight,little vibration,low noise,high efficiency and long service life,and adapts to AC-SCR-DC electric drive,AC VFD electric drive and hydraulic drive,wide speed change range,and can meet all kinds of drilling technology requirements.
Drawworks Features:
A.All bearing are rolling bearings and the shafts are made of alloy steel.
B.The chains are pressure lubricated.
C.The drum is grooved. The low-speed & high- speed ends of drum shaft are equipped with a ventilating air tube clutch.
D.The brake rim (or disc) is water cooled and the surface is medium-frequency induction hardened which provides long service life.
E.The contour of the sprocket teeth are medium frequency induction hardened. All transmission clutches are of involute spline type.
